I had found a deal on a used Casio CTK but it didn't include the adaptor. After some browsing around I ended up at Amazon and found one of their merchants had what I needed. In that this was my first keyboard, I was concerned about finding the "correct" adapter. But between the merchants description and the reviews people sent in, I got it right the first time. The reviews where very helpful in bringing out points I never would have thought of i.e..volt ratings, connection types. The small things certainly increase your chances of getting the item you're searching for...the FIRST time out!! Thanks again to all that take the time to share in a review.
I was also surprised that such a small item was offered with free shipping. In todays internet market, there's too much competition to pay shipping, shop around. Usually, free shipping offers stretch the envelope on the 7-10 business day promise, but the item arrived in three days. Wow! hat's off to Amazon and your sponsored merchant.

There seems to be a bit of confusion surrounding this adapter, mainly people having bought it for a keyboard it doesn't support. According to the pack, it "fits all CT, CTK & LK Keyboards except LK6". It works great on my LK-50. Another reviewer mentions getting a generic 9v adapter - I have tried 5 which fit, and all but one of them produced a buzzing from electrical noise. The one that worked ok was an adjustable power supply I use on a radio, but it's only 500mw. Save yourself the hassle, if you have one of these Casio keyboards this is what you want to get.

Ok, so it fits as advertised. I did not appreciate the fact, that to make it work safely, I had to wrap a bare wire with electrician tape. That is really below expectations.

I bought it for my Casio CTK-574 keyboard because I misplaced the adapter that came when I first bought the keyboard. My sister later found out the original adapter and they're both exactly the same. The original has lasted for about 4 years and I've got no complaints about it so far. It's certainly better than having to replace the batteries each time.
