Pacific Drums Throne DW 700 July 30, 2010 Steven Pawson A good throne overall for anyone. The bolt through is good in the fact that you can have consistent height if you need to pack it up and you can be sure then throne won't sink as you are playing. The fallback though is the small parts (metal ring and an aesthetic piece) that can be easily lost while taking it apart. Other than that the pad is very comfy and the legs can take my weight of 270lbs with no discernible problems. Recommended for just about anyone.
Chair for Rockband Player is a Relief June 26, 2010 White Falcon (NJ USA) This was purchased for my boyfriend who would sit uncomfortably on a cushion and chair to play the game. It has made a big difference in his comfort and his ability to play the drums.
Good drum throne for the price May 15, 2010 Amazonian (USA) I've had this for about 6 months now. I'm about 5ft 11" and I don't have any issues with the adjustment. Minor quibble is the seat clamp is not well designed. So IF you lift the stool by the seat, it can come off. The seat is fairly comfortable. I like that the height can be adjusted and the legs fold which is convenient. But you would expect that. I bought it to play RB & GH games. It could be used for people who play an actual drum set. But then, you might want to consider a seat that is more comfortable. Not saying this is uncomfortable. But your butt will get a little sore after an extended period of play.
The build quality of this throne is quite good. No complaints there. I would definitely recommend it over any of he cheaper stools that cost around 25-35 bucks.
kinda ok... but March 11, 2010 jshoe (nj) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i bought this eat along with the rest of my swingstar kit...for $400... i like it in the fact that it gets the jon done, but it squeaks, hard to move, and the tightener doesn't work...i almost broke my leg at a gig when i trid lifting it and it fell...i good for RB and GH, but its crap for anything else
Decent throne, at least for Rock Band March 7, 2010 Matt Andrews (Cherry Hill, NJ) Overall a decent purchase for what we're using it for. Good price, solid construction and easy assembly; comes with no instructions but none needed. It's able to support my fat posterior!
You get a little sore after an hour, so if you're a serious drummer you may want to look for something more professional. However, this is great for Rock Band/Guitar Hero.
