Love it! August 2, 2010 KH I had been looking for a new acoustic guitar to replace a 3/4-size one I had to learn on. A friend told me my old guitar was terrible (it cost forty bucks) and I eagerly started looking for a cheap replacement. How lucky I was to find this guitar! As I am still a guitar novice, this guitar is wonderful to learn on -- the finish, which I was unsure about when buying, is GORGEOUS, the sound is phenomenal, and the size is just right (I am a 20-something woman and felt really comfortable with the size of the 3/4 guitar). Now I have absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about when I bring this guitar out. I can't believe the difference between this and my old guitar was 30 bucks...
I am so in love with this guitar and hope soon I will make music worthy of it! If you trying to decide to buy this guitar, DO IT.
Great Guitar for the money July 29, 2010 Ben Wade Bought this guitar for a family reunion. I had it shipped to the place the reunion was at. Everything worked out great! It shipped on time and the guitar sounded great!! Awesome Amazon!!
W-O-W July 24, 2010 Wow this guitar is just amazing. It's soooo beautful! I'm just starting to play the guitar and I'm kinda learning from a friend but this guitar is just amazing!! I's beautiful, load, has an amazing sound, all you need is a good tuner and you're good to go!!!! Have fun.....
Horrible Guitar July 23, 2010 weber 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought the guitar, neck had been obviously cracked and re-glued back on. Upon putting a fresh set of strings on the guitar the neck at the base separated and came apart. What a piece of junk.
totally surprised by quality/sound July 20, 2010 Mark C I was completely blown away with this guitar. For ~$75, i wasn't expecting much. But it turns out the Jasmine has a very nice appearance and it has a rich, deep sound that rivals my sister's $400 martin acoustic. Another nice surprise was the neck that reaches out to the 14th fret before it hits the body, something that is generally missing on sub $100 guitars. It has an unvarnished surface that is quite smooth to the touch and which i personally like (since i find varnished guitars to get "sticky" after extended use or during the summer months and you don't have to wipe your fingerprints off after every use). The build quality is excellent. The single downside is that only the guitar is included, so if this is your first guitar, you'll need to go shopping for the other base accessories (extra strings, gig bag or case, picks, tuner, capo, etc...). But this is definitely a great guitar, easy to play (i imagine it'll be even easier when i change out the strings), and I highly recommend it.
