When this tambourine was removed from its packaging it immediately fell apart into many potentially lethal pieces. It should be recalled.
great for toddlers (age 3 and up) ! December 25, 2008 Sharonlee Ward (PA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a hit for little toddler who watches big sister play Rock Band drums and wants to be a part of the game. Toddler loves to shake this tambourine and tap it on her hips, knees, hands, and top of head!
Quality tambourines April 5, 2008 D. Hauser I purchased enough tambourines for my 2-year class in the Children Center were I work. They are the judges for this item. The plastic began to rip/tear the first week; however, I am removing the plastic as they rip. The tambourines are still a nice addition to our music section without the plastic. The children simply love to play them, and they are used all day long every day. The plastic is not necessary.
Great for the toddler set January 12, 2008 Rebecca Menes (Alexandria, VA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought a pair of these, along with assorted other noisemakers/instruments, to amuse toddlers at a Christmas party.
I was pleased by the overall sturdiness of these tambourines, and they have a decent sound (not great.) My son enjoys banging them.
An added bonus -- they are relatively small and light, so my son does less damage than he might with a real, wooden tambourine, when he bangs something other than his hand.
If you want to put together a toddler band, a couple of cheap kazoos and some "egg" shaped shakers are also good additions.
Excellent quality tambourines! July 6, 2007 bearienice (Green Bay, WI USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These arrived quickly and I could NOT believe the quality,, for $1.99 each I had purchased 2 because they are for my 1 year old grandson and I wasn't sure what abuse they would take through the years but I believe they will last for a long time to come. They are excellent quality tambourines and at this price you can't go wrong!
