Product Description The ocean in your hand! Tilt the wave drum slowly forward and back, to watch and listen to the "waves" of colorful beads. Alternately, tap the drumhead with the included mallet for a snare drum rhythm.

Cool first drum! May 12, 2010 A. Krachinski (Tulsa, OK) My fiance is a drummer and our daughter now has her first drum. She is only 6 months old, so I have to watch her with the mallet, but she loves this drum even without it. I had never seen one of these ocean wave drums, but it is very cool. The little balls are kind of electrified in there and jump around! The sounds this drum makes excites my daughters baby senses!! :-)
Very durable, simple, and fun toy March 28, 2010 Mika Watanabe (Bay Area, CA United States) I bought this toy for my two and a half years old triplets to do a pretend play as a marching band. It is fun to see the beads jumping up when they hit the surface. It is also very durable, so even if my triplets stand on the surface, the surface have not yet torn. The only downside may be it is hard to remove the drum stick off from the yellow stick holder. When they try to remove it the whole yellow stick holder tends to come out, but not a stick. Still, it does not seem to be bothering them, as the drum works just fine also by using their hands.
A little disappointed February 18, 2010 N. Cousino (Massachusetts, USA) This is a cute drum and I was anticipating my 2-year old being very excited over it but so far she seems to care less about it. I think the price is a bit much considering it's all just plastic. It is nice as far as the bright colors and the vivid colorful picture inside, and it is fun to watch the little plastic balls inside roll around, but as a musical instrument it's just not that interesting. My daughter is having much more fun with the other musical instruments we got her - the harmonica and egg shakers.
Awesome toy for toddlers February 16, 2010 SciFi lover (Alpharetta, GA) My 18 mo old daughter loves this. She likes to watch the little plastic balls inside dance around when she beats the drum. Very durable, can even be stepped on.
Nice little drum! December 27, 2009 sassi214 (Arlington, VA) When you slowly shift the beads in this drum from side to side it really DOES sound like the ocean! I love it! It's adorable and well made. A+
