5 out of 5 stars Double Pedal easy to install but be ready to move everything around to make room.   February 16, 2010
Phil (Central PA)
Shipping was timely and the product arrived in excellent condition and well packaged. The set-up was easy and without complications, except that due to the size difference with a single drum pedal, the drum set needed to be moved around to coordinate the extra room required for the double pedal. I am well satisfied with this product and would recommended it for its value and quality.

1 out of 5 stars Spectacularly poor design.   February 11, 2010

I'm astounded that this pedal isn't getting horrible reviews. The pedal is barely adjustable. The beater angle and almost all other aspects are stuck in place, I confirmed this with a person from Pacific (you can do the same). The person I spoke with told me that the 400 series is the lowest line and therefore has no bells and whistles. This wouldn't be a huge problem if the angle of the beater wasn't dangerously far back. Every time I play this pedal the beaters slam back into my shin after I lift my foot off from a bass drum hit. This is extremely obnoxious and it gets painful. This fact alone makes this pedal something that I would never recommend to anyone. Please, if you're looking for a bass pedal you MUST look a little bit longer. This pedal is cheap for a reason and you'll likely be very disappointed with it.

4 out of 5 stars good for hobby drummers   February 5, 2010

My fiancé plays drums as a hobby and wanted to try out a double bass pedal. I got this one for him and he says it works well, he just needs to learn how to use it better. At $99.99, it's a really good price for someone who plays occasionally as a hobby.

4 out of 5 stars Good for begginers   December 26, 2009
Max
They are very good for begginers. i got them 3 months after i got my drum set because 1 pedal didint feel right. they do bounce back and hit ur foot whcih is realy the only downside. it hurts but u get used to it and dont even notice it anymore. theyre good for begginers but they do take patience to master. you have to start out slow and pick up speed as you get better. it took me about 4 months to actually get a realy fast speed going.. but it was worth it. :)

4 out of 5 stars This is a 402 not a 400 Pedal.   October 7, 2009

This pedal is a great deal for the price, so buy it and you will most likely be happy. But, before you do, know going into it that this pedal is not the 400 pedal as described. It is the 402 version instead. The big difference between the 400 and the 402 is that the 402 (the one you will get) comes with a much cheaper thinner chain. The description above has pictured the better "fat" chain of the actual 400 model. Amazon also (currently) has the 402 for sale for the exact same price, so you can compare the differences in the chains. If you order this, you are going to get the pedal and chain pictured in the 402 picture.
