Great Pedals for the Price June 13, 2010 Samantha I've had these for a short time, but can already tell they are well worth the price paid. I do not have a problem with the beaters bouncing back and hitting my shin (a problem I had with my previous pedal, no matter what adjustments I made to it) and do not hear any squeaks, creaks or other unwanted sounds while using them. Unlike many cheap pedals, the beaters sit evenly on the rod, providing a smoother, symmetrical movement when playing double bass rythms. These are among the best pedals for this price, if not the best (haven't tried them all, so I can't say for sure).
great quality for good price April 11, 2010 Aaron (Costa Rica) I just got this pedals since i want to start learning how to use double pedal with my drum kit after using single pedal for 5 years, and i can say this pedals feel great, beating is really good, if you are learning double pedal like i do this will work.
Double Pedal easy to install but be ready to move everything around to make room. February 16, 2010 Phil (Central PA) Shipping was timely and the product arrived in excellent condition and well packaged. The set-up was easy and without complications, except that due to the size difference with a single drum pedal, the drum set needed to be moved around to coordinate the extra room required for the double pedal. I am well satisfied with this product and would recommended it for its value and quality.
Spectacularly poor design. February 11, 2010 Janis Kirby 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm astounded that this pedal isn't getting horrible reviews. The pedal is barely adjustable. The beater angle and almost all other aspects are stuck in place, I confirmed this with a person from Pacific (you can do the same). The person I spoke with told me that the 400 series is the lowest line and therefore has no bells and whistles. This wouldn't be a huge problem if the angle of the beater wasn't dangerously far back. Every time I play this pedal the beaters slam back into my shin after I lift my foot off from a bass drum hit. This is extremely obnoxious and it gets painful. This fact alone makes this pedal something that I would never recommend to anyone. Please, if you're looking for a bass pedal you MUST look a little bit longer. This pedal is cheap for a reason and you'll likely be very disappointed with it.
good for hobby drummers February 5, 2010 Amy L. Schiffman (Lansing, MI) My fiancé plays drums as a hobby and wanted to try out a double bass pedal. I got this one for him and he says it works well, he just needs to learn how to use it better. At $99.99, it's a really good price for someone who plays occasionally as a hobby.
