Bought for my 12 year old. Of course not the best set but good enough for a beginner. Easy to set up with instructions found on internet. Would have been hard without help. Cymbals could be a little better. Maybe I will by some better ones if he sticks with it.

So far we are pleased with the drum set. We were upset at first because it does not come with a manual on how to put it together. That is our only complaint.

There are no instructions on how to put the drumset together. Thank goodness for YouTube. The base contact hoop was bent and no one to contact about such matter. I realize this is the cheapest version of Ludwig's drumset. The bass foot pedal is little to be desired, and not of Ludwig quality. Holding the chain link together was a very thin wire. That was the first thing to go into the trash. The hammer was not on the bar correctly which made the pedal hit the wingnut below in which there was a boom,clash type of sound. The cymbal and top hat was of very poor quality.
