Bach for Bars, Book 2, presents 23 additional duets for Marimba or Xylophone, drawn from the keyboard music of Johann Sebastian Bach, and arranged Roger Faulmann, Director of Percussion at Illinois State University. As with Book 1, these duets are playable either by two performers on two separate instruments, or two performers on one instrument. Although written for the standard four-octave keyboards, optional notes are included, where musically effective or desirable, for the extended range Marimba (down to low A).
