Bach for Bars, Book 1, presents 21 duets for marimba or xylophone, drawn from the keyboard music of Johann Sebastian Bach. These duets are playable either by two performers on two separate instruments, or two performers on one instrument. Optional notes are included, where musically effective or desirable, for the extended range marimba.
