The Peerless Heritage series TYP05W08O0088 (formerly model # 832233) 5-1/4" woofer features a die-cast basket, black polypropylene cone, and rubber surround. It has a smooth response due to a low loss resonance-free rubber surround and is perfect for use in two-way-systems. The incredibly well behaved on and off axis high frequency roll off this woofer will simplify crossover design by providing an easy transition to most tweeters. Magnetically shielded motor concentrates the magnetic field on the voice coil and prevents interference with CRT monitors and other sensitive electronic equipment.
