The TC6FD02-04 2" full-range driver from Tymphany is capable of remarkable performance from such a small driver. This driver has a patented PentaCut NRSC paper cone, low moving mass, and a copper cap on the motor, which improves high frequency performance and keeps distortion to a minimum. In addition, the motor and frame have extensive venting to keep the voice coil cool increasing power handling while minimizing compression for surprisingly dynamic response.
