The TPT-MB10 Slim 10" driver from Timpano Audio is built like a professional midbass, but has been designed for use in the mobile audio market. With a naturally damped paper cone and double roll cloth surround, this driver keeps resonances under control for natural response. The vented pole piece and 1-1/2" voice coil are designed to dissipate heat allowing the TPT-MB10 Slim to handle 400 watts of continuous power. The large ferrite motor is less susceptible to heat than neodymium to minimize power compression when driven at high output for long periods of time. Requiring just under 3" of depth, this driver is perfect for the low profile installations that are necessary in today's extreme output mobile sound systems.
