The TPT-M6-4 6-1/2" midrange speaker pair from Timpano Audio is built like a professional midbass, but has been designed for use in the mobile audio market. With a naturally damped paper cone and double roll cloth surround, this driver keeps resonances under control for natural response. The 1.4" voice coil and large magnet are designed to allow for high sensitivity and increased power handling. The ferrite motor is less susceptible to heat than neodymium to minimize power compression when driven at high output for long periods of time. Requiring just under 2-1/2" of depth, this driver is perfect for the low profile installations that are necessary in today's extreme output mobile sound systems.
