For a compact design, the Peerless DX20BF00-04 3/4" silk dome tweeter delivers high performance for an outstanding value. This small tweeter manages a low resonant frequency by using a damped silk diaphragm and large surround combined with a damped resonant chamber inside the ferrite triple magnet motor. Another advantage of the ferrite motor assembly is increased power handling over similar neodymium designs by increasing heat dissipation for the vice coil. The faceplate on the DX20BF00-04 is semi horn loaded for increased efficiency and improved response up to 30° off axis.
