Thanks to the damped 1" aluminum dome and large rubber surround Peerless has managed to drive any dome resonances well outside of the audible frequency range. Also, by using a damped rear chamber the Fs was driven down to 721 Hz for crossover points as low as 1,500 Hz making this tweeter suitable for use in a 2-way with woofers as large as 8". Finally, thanks to Ferrofluid cooling and large ferrite motors helping to wick away heat, power handling is 100 watts RMS giving the DA25BG08-06 extremely high output capabilities.
