Product Description: Designed for djembes, this stand may be used for a number of drums, including the Idiopan steel tongue drum. The smaller ring can accommodate a drum up to 9 3/8 inch in diameter. The top and bottom ring are coated in a non-slip rubber. Use this stand to hold your drum while you play, it is the perfect height when you are seated in a chair. Or you can store your drum in the stand to keep it from accidentally tipping over. The six metal struts connecting the two rings provide good stability and support. Over all height 17.5 inches, bottom ring is 14.5 inches in diameter outside and 13.5 inches inside.

Therefore, it is recommended that you purchase a replacement set of strings and consider changing your strings soon after it arrives. If you are a student you may want to change your strings every 3-4 months. If you are a rock star you may need to change your strings every week. If you store your instrument, you should consider changing the strings when you pick it up again.
