Is the size of the replacement drum head the actual diameter of the product or is it the size of the drum it fits? I am specifically looking at SKU: MID-GT10-MD, Barcode: 844731006593. This item is identified as "10 inch". Does the head measure 10 inches or is it somewhat larger than that, allowing it to fit a 10 inch drum? I have a djembe that is approx. 10 inches diameter. I need a replacement head that measures somewhat larger than 10 inches in order to fit the drum. Please clarify the measurements. Thank you.

it is a Flat round piece of natural goatskin measuring 10”.
 
You always need to get a head at least 4” larger than you drums playing surface.
