Remo's Capoeira pandeiros are designed for today's modern playing techniques, are light weight and feature a new chrome plated jingle set of three that create crisp sounds which enable fast articulated beats allowing the drumhead tones to resonate freely. The Capoeira pandeiro is constructed with a fixed, pre-tuned Skyndeep graphic drumhead with Ultratac and is 10 x 1.75 inches. This new development in Remo's drumhead technologies offers enhanced sound with an attractive look. The Skyndeep with Ultratac adds a unique animal-like texture on the drumhead surface that produces low bass notes while adding pliability, making it easy to bend and modulate the pitch. Also featured on this drumhead is Remo's O ring with adhesive that reduces overtones and increases warm bass tones. The drum shell is made with Acousticon, 100% recycled wood fiber, and is elegantly finished with an antique wood grain stain. The Capoeira pandeiro is designed with a pre-tuned low pitch head which cannot be replaced or tuned as it is a fixed non-replaceable head. If you are a student you may want to change your strings every 3-4 months. If you are a rock star you may need to change your strings every week. If you store your instrument, you should consider changing the strings when you pick it up again.
