Extra-low-profile, High-strength Boom Mic Stand

TAMA’s Iron Works Studio Series MS756RELBKT is an extra-low-profile, studio-ready boom mic stand that is ideal for miking kick drum or guitar amplifiers — or for use in any situation where low-height mic positioning is needed. With a steel multi-plate compression tilter, solid-core iron boom, and weighted round base, this stand keeps your mic exactly where you position it. The MS756RELBKT is engineered to perform brilliantly for years to come.

Much appreciated by Sweetwater engineers who’ve been disappointed by the failure of weak tilter mechanisms used by economy-grade stands, TAMA Iron Works Studio stand tilters utilize multiple steel compression plates that grip tightly to deliver optimal angle-holding power. The boom's die-cast zinc metal thumb nut has a large, sure-grip design that allows greater leverage for faster, easier setup and teardown, and its high-quality zinc threads and walls are built to last.

"Iron Works" isn't just marketing jargon

True to its name, the TAMA Iron Works Studio Series MS756RELBKT low-profile boom mic stand features a solid-core telescoping iron boom arm. The arm safely secures your mic exactly where you position it, with oversized knob screws that will lock the boom in place until you're ready to adjust it. Stability is increased and wobble is minimized with a rod stopper made of tougher-than-nylon polyoxymethylene (POM). Plus, the counterweight is removable, which allows lefties to slide the whole boom out and reinsert it from the other side for dominant-hand adjustment.

Stable weighted round base

Positioning mics around a drum kit is a challenging proposition: space is tight, and vibration is always a consideration. The cast round base of the TAMA Iron Works Studio Series MS756RELBKT mic stand is very stable, with rubber feet to isolate your mic from structure-borne vibration. And its compact size lets you fish mics into extremely tight spaces — perfect for kick-drum or under-snare duties. The MS756RELBKT's bottom-heavy design provides a super-stable base to support even the heaviest microphones securely.

TAMA Iron Works Studio Series MS756RELBKT Extra-low-profile Boom Mic Stand Features:
  • Extra-short stand is optimal for use with bass drums, guitar amps, and a range of other low-height applications
  • Die-cast locking thumb nut with steel tilter pressure plates tighten securely and are super-durable
  • Solid-core telescoping iron boom arm is strong and also reversible for left-hand use
  • Round weighted cast-iron base provides a stable footing for any mic
